Output agricultural product of Cau Ngang in 2011 reaching 2,200 tons (24/11/2011)

At conference  to review  agricultural product of Cau Ngang in 2011 said this crop farmers in  district  seed field with rice  over 10,900 hectares of vegetables, achieving 96% of plan increasing 550 hectares compared with 2010, mainly in Long Son, Nhi Truong, Thuan Hoa and My Long Bac communes;  yield from 6.5 to 7.5 tons / ha, production reached more than 2,200 tons. especially corn seed farmer profit from 20 to 25 million VND. In recent years, farmers have converted land of hill inefficient rice crop conversing agricultural product from 2-3 crops / year, bringing high economic efficiency, profitability than 2 -3 times higher than mainly agricultural product.

According to Tra Vinh department of transport said construction and development of rural transport system period 2011 - 2015 and orientation  2020, in Tra Vinh province need of capital  to implement  4.558 billion VND , in which period 2011 - 2015 is 2,814 billion VND,  period from 2015 to 2020 is 1,744 billion VND.
